Along the road that leads from Bonorva to the forest of Burgos,
there is the medieval town of Rebeccu.
This town is quite interesting from an archaeological point of view, with a nuragic spring
well called “Su Lumarzu”, which this lovely restaurant is named after. Opened over 25
years ago, it is decorated with handmade traditional furniture to recreate a typical family
type atmosphere in which to enjoy excellent traditional Sardinian fare. Simple, wholesome
flavours we seem to be losing are brought together to create “Pane a Fittas”, made with
“zichi” bread and seasoned with tomato or mushroom and pecorino sauce, delicious
roasts, and delicate sweets, all served with quality local wines.
